An AI agent trained on your website can explain how things work. With function calls it can also fetch information live, the very second a customer asks: current price and stock, the next available slot, what's on this weekend or where an order is. Nothing is installed on your side, and you don't need an API of your own.
Included in Enterprise and E-commerce Enterprise
Function calls don't replace the knowledge base. They add a capability on top of an agent that already does a good job.
Examples from industries where ZyndraAI builds function calls today. Every answer is based on data fetched live when the question is asked.
Do you have the running jacket in size M, and how much is it?
Yes, the Windbreaker running jacket is in stock in size M right now. Price SEK 1,299, normally SEK 1,599 – it's on sale. Would you like me to add it to your cart?
Do you have a used Volvo XC60 under SEK 400,000?
Right now there are two XC60s in stock under SEK 400,000: a 2022 B5 AWD with 41,000 km for SEK 389,000 and a 2021 T6 Recharge with 62,000 km for SEK 365,000. Would you like to see photos and equipment for either of them?
When is our rubbish collected in Bjursele?
Bjursele is on the Lämmeln route, Mondays in odd weeks. The next collection is Monday 10 November. Put your bin out by 05:00 at the latest. No route changes have been published for that week.
What's on at your place on Saturday, and when do you open?
On Saturday we open at 10:00. There are two events in the calendar: a guided tour at 11:00 and animal feeding at 14:00. Would you like directions or ticket information?
The examples are illustrative. What can be fetched depends on what is published on your website or in your systems.
A function call is a small function that ZyndraAI builds and runs on our platform. When a customer asks something that needs current information, the AI agent calls the function, which fetches the data and hands it back to the agent – which then replies in the customer's language.
We go through your website and systems and identify what customers ask for and where that information lives. You get a concrete proposal for the function calls that add the most value.
ZyndraAI builds the functions and tests them against real customer questions together with you. The functions read the same public information a visitor sees in the browser, or your API if you have one. No installation, no changes to your website.
Once the functions are live, the agent fetches the information the second the question is asked. When you update your website, the change takes effect immediately. If something can't be fetched, the agent says so and refers the customer onward – it never guesses.
Anything published on your website or reachable through an API can become a function call. Some of the most common:
Search products, show price, sale price, variants and stock status.
Where is my order, and when will it arrive?
The customer picks a product in the chat and continues to checkout.
Search by make, model, price, mileage or registration number.
Search by location, price, number of rooms and property type.
What's on this weekend, next week or in a given category.
The right time for the right day, including holidays.
What you publish becomes searchable the moment it goes live.

No. A function call can read the same public information a visitor sees on your website. If you have an API we'll use it, but it isn't required.
Book a demo and we'll show you how function calls would work for your business – based on the questions your customers actually ask.
